What it does

A buddy that sees, speaks, points, and explains

Screen awareness, voice, and clear step-by-step guidance, all behind one push-to-talk gesture.

Screen awareness

Hold the key and Remy looks at your screen, then understands exactly what’s in front of you — your email, a photo, a form, a website. Answers are grounded in what you’re really looking at, not a generic guess.

  • Sees every display you have
  • Understands buttons, text & layout
  • Looks only when you hold the key

The pointing cursor

Remy’s signature move. When you ask “where do I click?”, a smooth cursor flies across the screen and lands on the exact button, menu, or field — so you never hunt for it yourself.

  • Pixel-accurate targeting
  • Works across any macOS app
  • Great for learning new tools

Clear step-by-step guidance

Remy never takes the wheel. It’s a smart guide — it explains exactly what to do and why, breaking any task into simple steps you follow yourself, at your own pace.

  • Explains the next step in plain words
  • Breaks big tasks into small steps
  • Remembers what you’re working on

Voice in, voice out

Push-to-talk capture and a natural spoken reply keep you in flow. Ask while your hands stay on the keyboard or the mouse, and listen to the answer instead of reading it.

  • Global push-to-talk shortcut
  • Natural spoken responses
  • Hands-free follow-ups
And the details

The small things that make it feel right

One global gesture

ctrl + option from anywhere in macOS. No window to manage.

Private by default

Remy only looks when you ask, and never stores what it sees or hears.

Want full control?

Power users can bring their own LLM — run Remy on a local model with the Remy CLI.

Quick & to the point

Remy keeps answers fast and focused, so help arrives in seconds.

Stays on topic

Tell Remy what you’re working on and its help stays focused on it.

Talk naturally

No special phrasing — ask the way you’d ask a friend.

Get going

Up and running in three steps

1

Download & install

Open Remy.dmg and drag Remy onto the Applications shortcut, then launch it from Applications.

2

Grant permissions

On first use, macOS asks for Microphone, Screen Recording, and Accessibility. After the last two, quit and relaunch once.

3

Sign in & start talking

Create or sign in to your free Remy account when the app opens. Then hold the key, ask away, and Remy takes it from there.

One-time permissions

Three macOS permissions

Remy asks for these the first time you use each feature. Nothing leaves your machine — the brain runs locally on your own account.

Microphone

So you can talk to it.

Screen Recording

So it can see your screen to help.

Accessibility

So its cursor can fly to and point at things.

What you’ll need

Questions

Good to know

Is Remy free?
Yes — Remy is free to start. Download it, sign in, and you get a set amount of usage every month at no cost. When you want more, Plus adds much more usage and a Remy that remembers you.
Do I need any other account, key, or setup?
No. Just download Remy, sign in, and start talking — there’s nothing else to configure. (Power users who want to bring their own model can use the Remy CLI.)
What happens if I run out of monthly usage?
Remy lets you know when you’re close. You can pick things up again next month for free, or move to the upcoming paid plan for much more usage.
Can I use my own local or API LLM instead?
Yes — that’s what the Remy CLI is for. It’s in development now and lets you point Remy at a model running on your own machine, or any API LLM service you choose, for full control over where your data goes.
